    The Review Conference of Vietnam Women’s Union on the 10-year implementation (1996-2006) of the Politburo’s Ordinance No. 06 on enhancing leadership and direction to the task of drug prevention and control was held on 29th December 2006.

    On 20th December 2006, the Youth newspaper published the article “Vietnamese women were marketed to Malaysia”, the Vietnam Women’s Union sent an official correspondence on 22nd Dec. 2006 to the Embassy of Vietnam in Malaysia asking for justification of the cases and prompt intervention if necessary”.   • Website on caring for children with mental disorders launched

    The Morning Star Centre has since early January launched a website at www.morningstarcenter.net to provide knowledge and consultancy on how to care for mentally challenged children, including such disorders as Down syndrome, autism and cerebral palsy.
