Warm coats donated to the elderly
The Can Tho Elders’ Association, on July 6, has called for donation from organisations, agencies and benefactors in the locality in response to the ‘One Million Warm Coats for the Elderly’ campaign, launched by the Vietnam Elders’ Association Central Committee.
Around 5,000 warms coat are expected to be collected until September to support poor lonely elderly people in the city
This is one of the practical activities in the ‘Caring for and Promoting Role of the Elderly in the Society’ movement, expressing the responsibilities of families, the State and the entire society to the elderly people.
