VWU leader attends performance for Vietnamese community in Korea

 The event was organized by the Korea-Vietnam Friendship Association, the authority of Hong Seong City (Chung Nam Province) and Sohwa Media company with the participation of 30 Vietnamese artists and journalists.

Speaking at the performance, Vice President Hoang Thi Ai Nhien sent her greetings to the Vietnamese community in Korea, encouraging them to overcome hardship and barriers, including the language and culture o­nes, and build a happy and sustainable life, especially for the multi-cultural families. She encouraged the Vietnamese community to promote unitty, mutual support and close contacts with the homeland. The Vice President also thanked the authority of Hong Seong city and donors for their meaningful support toVietnamese community.

The performance of both traditional and modern music conveying messages of love from the homeland was highly applauded by the Vietnamese and Korean audience. Particularly the audience was very touched to witness the surprising reunion o­n the stage between two Vietnamse mothers and their daughters married to Korean husbands. Along with the performance, there was a Food Festival for multi-cultural families. The event was a highlight of the Vietnamese culture and friendship betweeen the Vietnamese and Korean people.
