Vietnam Women's Union's leaders visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and families of social policy

On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), leaders of the Central Vietnam Women's Union paid a visit and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers, martyr’s mother, families of social policy, people with meritorious services to the revolution, heroine of the People's Armed Forces, young female volunteers, and women with years of communist party member in provinces, including Lao Cai, Hoa Binh, Tay Ninh, Lam Dong, and Ha Noi city.
Presenting gifts to Vietnamese heroic mother Ngo Thi Den

In Lao Cai province, Member of the Party Central Committee, VWU President Ha Thi Nga and leaders of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province presented gifts to the Vietnamese heroic mother Ngo Thi Den, martyr’s mother Ta Thi Senh.

Mrs. Den gave birth to 10 children (6 boys, 4 girls), of which 2 of her children sacrificed their lives for the Fatherland protection.

In Pom Han ward, Lao Cai city, VWU President Ha Thi Nga and the delegation presented gifts to 20 families of war invalids, martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution.

VWU President Ha Thi Nga present gifts, and encourages the spirit of Vietnamese heroic mother Phan Thi Hoi and families of social policy in Tan Bien district, Tay Ninh province.

* In Lam Dong province, the First Vice President of the VWU Do Thi Thu Thao presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mother Tran Thi Thung and 20 families of war invalids, martyrs and people with meritorious services in the province.

* In Ha Noi, VWU Vice President Ton Ngoc Hanh paid visit and presented gifts to the Hero of the People's Armed Forces, former First Vice President of the VWU Truong Thi Khue. She expressed the gratitude of generations of VWU officials, members and women for the contributions of Heroine Truong Thi Khue in the war against American Imperialism to defend our country as well as her tireless contributions to the development of Vietnamese women. Wishing Heroine Truong Thi Khue good health, to continue interested in and support for the VWU's activities and women's movements.

At the visits, VWU leaders expressed their deep feelings and gratitude to those who have made heroic contributions and sacrifices for national independence and reunification. Requesting that local Party Committees, authorities and the Women's Union continue to pay attention, care for and support families of social policy and people with meritorious services to have stable and sustainable development of their lives.

Visiting and showing gratitude activities have become an annual activity of the VWU on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day anniversary, thereby demonstrating the moral code of “when drinking water, remember its source”, “showing gratitude”, and the affection and responsibility of the VWU leaders to those who have contributed to the country’s revolution.
