Training on “Strengthening of caring, counseling, and support for people infected by HIV/AIDS & HIV/AIDS prevention and control”
Recently, with the assistance of Global Fund, WU of Thanh Hoa province organized the training: ““Strengthening of caring, counseling and support for people infected by HIV/AIDS & HIV/AIDS prevention and control” for 70 volunteers, motivators of Tho Xuan, Ngoc Lac district, Bim Son town and staff of provincial WU.
This training helps participants to be sufficiently aware of HIV/AIDS prevention and control methods and to decrease the danger of HIV/AIDS infection. The training means to educate people to lessen the discrimination against HIV/AIDS sufferers to improve their lives, care for people having HIV/AIDS at home and community, and to prevent mother-to-child transmission.
Besides this, participants also practiced how to counsel HIV/AIDS sufferers and how to settle cases dealing with the health and danger of HIV/AIDS.
