Traditional Vietnamese opera goes online

The website is available in English o­nly, featuring the traditional Vietnamese sounds of Tuong, Cheo, and Cai luong opera, musical forms that are hundreds of years old and form part of Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage.

TRG International posted the site, a company founded in 1994 specialising in providing Business Management solutions by consulting, education, software development and systems integration.

Director general Rick Yvanovich said, “We are dedicated to popularizing an important part of Vietnam’s heritage to foreigners as well as Vietnamese youth.”

He added that in the future, the website would be promoted as an e-library data base and vital resource for perpetuating programs and performances of traditional Vietnamese opera.
