Promoting Female Officials - a High Priority
Promoting female officials to lead and hold key positions is a part of the “Action Plan for the Advancement of Women in Judiciary sector” over the period of 2006-2010.
Female officials in the sector will be given priority or proposed to be promoted if they obtain such equal standard level as men.
The goal of the Action Plan is that by 2010, women will take over at least 30% of leading positions at the Department level. For units which have more than 30% of female officials, women will get involved in the leading board.
- A Vice Minister is a woman
- 40% members of the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Justice are women
- Over 50% of the trainees in comprehensive training are women
