More than 7,100 ethnic minority women participate in contest on domestic violence prevention and control
The 2022 Law on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control was passed by the 15th National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at its 4th session on November 14, 2022 and took effect on July 1, 2023.
Aiming to widely disseminate basic contents of the Law on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control to VWU staff, members and women of all walks of life nationwide, the Central VWU launched the online contest “Gaining knowledge about the 2022 Law on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control” on its Electronic Information Portal and its Fanpage. The VWU is the first socio-political organization to carry out numerous activities to communicate about this Law.
This contest was conducted weekly, spanning over 6 weeks, starting from 00:00 on July 10 to 23:59 on August 18, 2023.
