Although there are concerns, we can all be proud of the multi-faceted achievements of Vietnam in the Year of the Tiger. Vietnam was embarking on a ship to the high seas when it encountered tidal waves, which shocked many economies all over the world. Many countries were at risk. Many rich financial-banking groups went bankrupt, and they are experiencing hard times recovering.
Even with such a background, Vietnam’s economy is on the way to recovery, with a growth rate of 6.78%. Resources for the country’s development have been secured; the country’s sovereignty has been protected and cultural-social policies have been implemented better. The country’s position and power are stronger. It has created good pre-requisites for the successful implementation of the policies, guidelines and decisions proposed in the documents presented to the Party Congress for discussion and approval.
The achievements are the quintessence of the abilities and intellectuality of the Party, State and People. Such abilities and intellectuality have been taught through our history of national development and security. Calm before the storm. Not subjective about achievements. And serious about our limitations and shortcomings to ensure firmer steps in the future.
“To ensure peace for the people, such is the essence of humanity and justice.” That is a saying sent down to us from our ancestors. Vietnam’s humanity and justice still stem from allowing the people to have a prosperous, happy life, in a generous and kind society with a happy heart, and friendly diplomatic relations.
Humanity and justice make intellectuality useful and sustainable. Humanity and justice, and intellectuality are two of the decisive factors that create abilities. Abilities turn intellectuality, humanity and justice into life’s realities.
We are so proud of Vietnam’s Abilities, Intellectuality, Humanity and Justice.
