International partners and overseas Vietnamese extend congratulations to the 14th National Women’s Congress
The 14th National Women’s Congress takes place in Hanoi on June 17–18, 2026. The messages, sent by women’s organizations from Laos, Cambodia, China, Cuba, Belarus, Cyprus, Greece and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, as well as regional and international organizations and UN agencies, praised the achievements of Vietnamese women and the VWU’s contributions to national development, gender equality, and international solidarity.

International partners reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation with the VWU in promoting women’s empowerment, inclusive development, and sustainable growth. Organizations including the Women's International Democratic Federation (WIDF), the ASEAN Confederation of Women’s Organizations (ACWO), and UN agencies highlighted the Congress as an important milestone for advancing women’s rights and gender equality in Vietnam.

Overseas Vietnamese women’s associations in Europe also expressed confidence that the Congress would adopt innovative policies and initiatives to unlock women’s potential, strengthen gender equality, and deepen connections between women at home and abroad. They pledged to continue serving as a bridge linking overseas Vietnamese women with national development efforts and promoting the image of Vietnamese women internationally.
The 14th National Women’s Congress, taking place in Hanoi on June 17–18, is expected to chart strategic directions for advancing women’s role and contributions in Vietnam’s new era of development.
