Enhancing cooperation between the Vietnam Women’s Union and the Belarusian Women’s Union

Speaking at the meeting, President Nguyễn Thị Tuyến welcomed the delegation and shared an overview of the VWU and its major activities.
Ms. Tuyến emphasized that the BWU delegation’s visit further deepened the ties between the two women’s organizations and strengthened the traditional friendship that has been elevated to a Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Belarus. She also proposed expanding information exchanges between two sides, co-hosting events, linking affiliated organizations, and strengthening coordination at multilateral forums.

BWU President Olga Shpilevskaya expressed appreciation for the warm reception and highlighted the many shared values between the two organizations, especially in promoting peace, family values, and the protection of women and children. She also support strongly for VWU’s proposals and invited Vietnamese delegations to visit Belarus for further exchanges.
At the meeting, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation.
