Offering House Of Gratitude To A Poor Member Of The Women’s Union

Directed towards the Day of Martyrs and Wounded Soldiers, 27 July, the Women’s Union in Le Thanh Commune, My Duc District Ha Tay province recently came together with Bao Minh Ha Tay Company to begin construction of a house of gratitude for Mrs. Pham Thi La, a poor member of the Women’s Union.

Mrs. Phan Thi Loi, Vice President of the Ha Tay Women’s Union and representative of Bao Minh Ha Tay Company attended the groundbreaking ceremony and offered Mrs. La 15 billion VND drawing from the expenditure saving fund of the Ha Tay Women’ Union and the Bao Minh Ha Tay Company to build a house of gratitude.

 

Mrs. Pham Thi La, member ofLe Thanh Commune Women’s Union, is the wife of a martyr. Her family situation is so hard. She has serious illness and was blinded in 2002. Despite being blind, she has had to raise her ten-year-old son, this was hard as they didn’t have a house.

 

The house is expected to be inaugurated o­n the Day of Martyrs and Wounded Soldiers 27 July.
