Free Healthcare Services for People of Merit

06/12/2006
The ministries of Health, Finance and Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs recently issued a circular on healthcare policy to people who rendered services to the country.

The circular regulates that people who took part in the revolutionary cause before or from January 1, 1945 to August 19, 1945, Vietnamese heroic mothers, war invalids, and over-90-year-old citizens are exempted from healthcare charges.

Also, the revolution-related people can enjoy the annual convalescence of 10 days at the maximum cost of VND1 million each, paid by the government.
