Female footballers head for training in Taiwan

The Vietnamese national female football team today set off for two-weeks of training in Taiwan to prepare for SEA Games 23, reported coach Mai Duc Chung

The coach announced his team will also play three friendlies with local teams during the training session in Taiwan.


On returning home November 15, the coach will select 20 out of 25 women to suit up for SEA Games competition.


Before leaving abroad, all 20 players were given VND2 million each, or US$126 by the Vietnam Football Federation.
