  • Women at forefront of sustainable and circular economy development

    HANOI, Vietnam, November 6, 2024 - more than 200 social activists, scientists, business leaders and women attended the forum "Women Pioneers in Circular Economy Development," organized by the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) and the Resources and Environment Magazine.
  • “Join hands, change together” for Gender Equality and GBV Prevention and Response

    On the morning of November 16, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City, the VWU held a meeting themed "Join hands, change together" in response to the National Action Month for Gender Equality and Gender-Based Violence Prevention & Response 2024.
  • Inspiring ethnic minority young women on gender equality and leadership spirit

    On December 3, 2024 in Dien Bien province, over 150 young people and students gathered to listen, discuss successful stories, and share initiatives promoting gender equality and women's leadership, particularly for ethnic minority women.
  • Supporting women in the digital transformation process

    There are many benefits that digital transformation can bring to women, especially vulnerable groups of women, such as the ability to access information, access markets, and social services. From there, women have the opportunity to improve their knowledge, professional skills and opportunities for self-development.
  • Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen elected President of Vietnam Women’s Union

    100% of the Executive Committee members voted Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party-Designated Representation in VWU, member of the VWU Executive Committee, member of the VWU Presidium, to be VWU President for the 2022-2027 term.
