Women nationwide to plant trees congratulating 13th National Women's Congress
In response to VWU’s calling, women throughout the country are to plant trees as a practical congratulation to the 13th National Women's Congress Specifically, the Central VWU is calling WUs and women members nationwide to plant trees as part of the campaign "Women cultivating the future" with the slogan "each woman to grow a tree" and "each grassroot WU has a tree-planting project", aiming at the target of at least 130,000 trees planted on this occasion and at least 20 million trees by the end of 2025.
Local WUs are encouraged to plant various kinds of trees such as indigenous, shading, ornamental and fruit trees in public spaces, e.g. offices, schools, cultural, historic and memorial sites, industrial parks, urban and residential areas, etc.
The activity will be carried out from February 25 to March 25, 2022.
The Central VWU will organize tree-planting events in Hai Ba Trung Temple (Hanoi) in coorperation with the Army’s General Department of Politics right after the 13th National Women's Congress and in Hung Kings Temple (Phu Tho province) tentatively on March 12.
