Vietnamese and Belarusian women cooperate for development
Welcoming the BWU delegation, VWU Vice President Nguyen Thi Minh Huong expressed her delight regarding the ongoing efforts of the VWU and BWU to enhance the longstanding relationship between the two unions.

At the meeting, Ms. Nadezhda Lazarevich, First Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee, BWU Vice President proposed areas of cooperation between the two unions in 2024, including organizing an exhibition praising women of the two countries; a forum sharing experiences in female entrepreneurship, maternal support and childcare...

In response, VWU Vice President Nguyen Thi Minh Huong expressed enthusiastic support for these proposals, emphasizing that VWU is actively pursuing initiatives aligned with these three areas. She shared that annually, the VWU organizes Women's Start-up Day to encourage and honor women in business start-up. VWU is actively engaged in enhancing population quality with a focus on comprehensive care for newborns, support for mothers and ensuring gender balance at birth. The Vietnam Women's Museum under the Vietnam Women’s Union has a lot of experience in organizing various exhibitions about Vietnamese women in all fields.

In conclusion, the two Vice Presidents concurred that women of the two countries have complementary strengths. Therefore, they looked forward to further and closer cooperation in the future for women’s development in Vietnam and Belarus.
