Vietnam Women's Union extends condolences to Russian partners

On March 25, 2024, President of the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU), Ha Thi Nga, on behalf of the Vietnam Women's Union, sent letters of condolences to its Russian partners over a terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in Moscow on the evening of March 22, 2024 (local time) that left many people dead and injured.

The letters of condolences were sent to Ms. Afanasyeva Elena Vladimirovna, Member of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs, Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation; Ms. Irina Umnova, President of the International Fund "The Way for Peace"; Mr. Evgeny Grigoriev, Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg; the All-Russian Women's Union "Hope of Russia"; the Women's Union of Russia; and the Union of Women's Forces of Russia.

In the letter, VWU President Ha Thi Nga expressed deepest condolences to the people and women of Russia, especially the families of the victims of this terrorist attack. And she expressed that the VWU strongly condemned terrorism in all forms, especially terrorism against women and children.

 

VWU Vice-President Tran Lan Phuong writes the condolence book at the Russian Embassy in Hanoi

 

On the same day, VWU Vice-President Tran Lan Phuong led a delegation to come to the Rusian Embassy in Hanoi and pay homage to the deceased victims of the Crocus attack. In the condolence book, she wrote "May the deceased victims rest in peace and the bereaved families soon overcome this grief and loss”.
