President of Vietnam Women’s Union paid tribute to the General Secretary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Mr Kim Jong Il

On 21/12, the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) delegation led by Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, member of Central Party Committee, VWU President paid tribute to Mr. Kim Jong-il, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) at the DPRK Embassy in Hanoi.

On behalf of the Vietnam Women's Union and the Vietnamese women, Mrs Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa expressed her deepest condolences over the death of Mr. Kim to the Party, State and people of DPRK. She wrote: "We bow in deep respect to Mr. Kim. We believes the DPRK Party and people will turn pain into action and unite to successfully build a prosperous country as desired by Mr. Kim Jong Il. "
