At the reception of the delegation at the VWU’s head office in the morning of 24th October 2006, President of the VWU – Mme. Ha Thi Khiet affirmed to enhance special solidarity and friendship as well as comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Lao.
Once again, President Ha Thi Khiet expressed her thanks and high appreciation for the cooperation of the Laos Women’s Union and Laos Television Agency in televizing successfully the live program “Two Sisters”. Mme. Khiet emphasizes this live television program has great educative significance to people about special solidarity and friendship as well as comprehensive cooperation between the two countries. She wishes each side to further share and learn experience from the other in order to promote the relation in to a new plain, thus contributing to the construction and development of each country and in the region.
President of Laos Women’s Union, Mme. Sisay Leudeuthmounsone thanked the Vietnamese people in general and women in particular for their friendship and cordial reception to the delegation in Vietnam. Mme. Sisay also thanked the precious assistance of the Vietnamese women to the Laos women along the history, especially since the establishment of diplomatic relation between the two countries. President Sisay Leudethmounsone wishes the two sides to further promote mutual cooperation, assistance for the equality and development of the Vietnamese women in both Vietnam and Laos.
