Miss Universe tours Vietnam, films tourism promo

This is her first visit to Vietnam. Twenty-three-year-old Hawkins is o­n a three-week assignment to film for “The Great Outdoors” program, to be broadcast o­n Seven Network, a major TV station in Australia.

She is expected to videotape five Vietnamese sceneries listed by UNESCO as world heritages, besides other famous sites.

Arriving first in Hanoi last Friday, she said she enjoyed being driven around o­n a hired pedicab and signed autographs and chatted with locals.
