Implementing Effectively Entrusted Loan Service

According to this signed document, the Hanoi City Women’s Union has directed the women’s unions at the grassroots level to implement all articles written in this document effectively and comprehensively.

In order to manage well loan resource, district women’s unions organized training classes o­n entrusted loan procedures for project managers in communes and members of standing committee of local women’s union.

Women’s unions at all level carries out communication activities to their members by holding meetings with women’s groups and through broadcast. Therefore, 80-85% members of women’s union are aware of these loans. The surveys to choose right beneficiaries are transparent and democratic. The supervising activity as well as organizing training classes o­n credit management for heads of saving groups have been carried out frequently. At present, the entrusted outstanding loans are increasing (162 billion VND). The repayment of capital and interest is in time. The rate of delinquency is o­nly 0.7%

Thanks to the entrusted loan service and the support of women’s unions at all levels, more than 2.000 members of the women’s union have escaped from poverty, some of them even get rich.
