Contest for young business gurus launched

The contest will select talented young business operators nationwide to foster into a new generation of businesspeople who have aspirations, knowledge and passion.

According to organizers, this year’s contest will pose more difficult questions o­n business knowledge and capabilities in the first round compared to previous years. In the second round, contestants will be tested o­n their personal qualifications. The final round will test contestants’ ability in writing and presenting business plans, as well as their outstanding qualifications.

Winners of the contest will receive scholarships to an 18-month training course for masters of business administration at the Hanoi campus of the National University. They will then have the chance to glean business experience from leading domestic business operators.

The bonus fund of VND905mil will be shared among six gold, five silver and ten bronze prizes.

The competition is open to Vietnamese young citizens less than 28 years old, who are university graduates or students in the final year of economics, business administration or economic-related faculties of universities. If they are students, contestants must have good study results. The final round of the contest will be held o­n September 30, 2006 in HCM City.
