Belgian philanthropist grants 500 EUR to AO victims

29/02/2008
Belgian Earl Didier Le Grelle on February 13 donated 500 EUR to the Fund for AO Victims of the Viet Nam News Agency (VNA).

The Belgian philanthropist visited Viet Nam every year, calling on the four Vietnamese children, who have been under his sponsorship.

Since his first visit to Viet Nam in 1993, the Belgian earl has toured many localities, seeing with his own eyes the serious aftermaths of the spray of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Viet Nam during the war.

The Belgian philanthropist wanted to help ease the pains of the Vietnamese AO victims, particularly innocent children suffering from AO/Dioxin impacts.

Tran Mai Huong, President of the VNA’s Fund for AO Victims and VNA Vice Director General, thanked Didier Le Grelle for the donation and his sentiment towards the Vietnamese people, especially the poor and AO victims.
