35 projects awarded at national final round of Contest “Applying Information Technology (IT) in VWU’s 2024 Activities”
This contest is to implement the Resolutions of the 13th National Women's Congress and concretize the VWU’s breakthrough for the 2022-2027 term "To innovate VWU’s mode of operation, focusing on IT application" and the 2024 theme "Promoting IT Application in VWU’s Activities".

The contest was actively implemented and received the positive response of the VWUs at all levels, officials, members, and women nationwide. After 4 months of implementation, it received over 3000 projects from more than 9000 officials and members, including honorary male members, members from ethnic minorities, remote areas, and elderly members. Most of the projects were invested meticulously and thoroughly, using IT application softwares, digital platforms, online meeting applications, games, online learning competitions, etc. Thereby, unique and attractive projects were created to improve the quality of VWU’s activities, especially improving the atraction of women’s participation in VWU’s activities on cyberspace. At the national final round, there were 312 projects of which 35 best ones were awarded.

Warmly congratulating the authors whose excellent projects were awarded, Ms. Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, VWU President acknowledged and highly appreciated the responsibility and efforts of VWUs at all levels in the contest implementation. She especially expressed her appreciation for the response, enthusiastic participation, creativity and excitement of a large number of VWU’s officials, members, and women nationwide, thus spreading the meaning and spirit of the contest and making it succesful.

Ms. Ha Thi Nga also emphasized that the contest has been successful, initially finding out the highly pratical technology solutions which could be widely applied in VWU’s activities to attract more women’s participation. She requested VWUs of provinces and cities to spread these solutions and properly apply them to VWU’s activities at localities. At the same time, Ms. Nga required VWU staff to unceasingly improve their IT skills to build a strong and professional VWU organization. She also hoped members and women nationwide will proactively and actively study and adapt to digital transformation, apply IT to enhance their productivity, work efficiency and living conditions in the context of digital technology.
