President of the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) Le Thi Thuy received UNICEF Representative to Vietnam Silvia Danailov on August 28 to discuss deepening bilateral cooperation for the comprehensive development of women and children.

The 12th Korea–Viet Nam Women’s Forum was held on August 19 at the National Assembly Building in Seoul under the theme “Women’s Economic Empowerment in the Digital Era: Innovation and Inclusive Growth.”

The Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) has received 20 congratulatory messages from international partners, women’s organizations, and overseas Vietnamese women’s associations on the occasion of the 14th National Women’s Congress for the 2026–2031 term.

From April 21st – 22nd, 2025, the Vietnam Women’s Union organized a training program on “Knowledge and Skills for Implementing Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW dated January 24th, 2025 of the Politburo on International Integration in the New Context,” with the participation of more than 80 delegates from the Central Vietnam Women’s Union and Women’s Unions of 15 northern provinces and cities.

On March 24, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Huong, Vice President of the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) welcomed a delegation from the Republic of Korea’s Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, led by Ms. Shin Hye Kyong of the Multicultural Policy Division, to pay a visit to the headquarter of the VWU.

The Viet Nam Women’s Academy, in collaboration with the Australian People for Health, Education and Development Abroad (APHEDA), held an international scientific workshop in Ha Noi on February 9 under the theme “Enhancing Opportunities for Women Candidates to be Elected to People’s Councils at All Levels”.
