Women’s team to play friendlies with China

The newspaper said that the Vietnamese team would play China, who are training in Hangzhou in preparation for the forthcoming 15th Asian Games in Doha late this month.

Coach Tran Ngoc Thai Tuan was quoted as saying that the two friendlies against such strong opponents as China would be useful for his players, helping them gain experience.

The women’s team will leave for China for their 10 day training tour o­n November 8 and return home o­n November 18 before leaving for Doha, Qatar, o­n November 21.
