The meeting was a forum for the women trainees to share the feelings and to be encouraged to perform well to return to the family soon to make contribution to the society. The meeting was also an encouragement and an opportunity for the Vietnam Women's Union to enhance their responsibility and to share sentiment with the Center's staff who are devoted to the re-education for the miss-led women.
In her speech at the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha, Vice President of the Ha Noi Women's Union, highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the Center's staff and the efforts and enthusiasm of the trainees. Ms. Ha encouraged the trainees to take great efforts to work hard to re-integrate into the community and to return to the family at the earliest.
At the forum, the women talked and shared the inner feelings and expectations to the Women's Union at all levels and the Center's staff. Their first expectation is to be paid attention to by the society and to be accepted by the community when they re-integrate into the society; not to be discriminated and neglected; and to be supported with capital and employment to have a normal life. The trainees performed their self-composed drama on communication against drug addiction and prostitution.
After the meeting, the Women's Unio delegation visited the Center's kindergaten and presented gifts to the children.
