Tuyen Quang Provincial Women’s Union collected the constructive ideas of 3,627 cadres and members on the draft political report of women congress at all levels and the Statutes of the Women’s Union; directed to organize successfully the women congress at grassroots level in the term of 2006-2011. Besides, the Women’s Unions at all levels actively granted credit to its members for production development namely maintaining mandate activities with the Social policies Bank to loan 31,827 members with 130 millions VND investing in breeding and raising to increase income. Also in the first six months, cadres and members of the Women’s Union together with women have collected over 100 million VND to build the statue of Vietnam Heroic Mother.
In the last six month, Tuyen Quang Provincial Women’s Union will continue to boost emulation movements, strive for setting up groups of key members in 100 per cent grassrootsWomen’s Unions. The Women’s Union also motivates to develop membership by having at least 1 woman per family joining the Women’s Union in 80 per cent families having women at the age of 18 and over./.
