Signing a Non-refunded Assistance Agreement for the Development of a Vocational Training Center for women

Attending the Signing Ceremony were Mr. Takahiro Yoshida, Secretary of Economic Department, Japanese Embassy in Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoai, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee of the Party, Vice President of Quang Binh’s People’s Committee together with representatives from Provincial External Relations Office.

 
As signed in the Agreement, the Vocational Training Center for women in Quang Binh will be established in an area of 1,967 square meters in the center of Dong Hoi City with an investment of USD 85,480. Trainees of the Center will be women laborers who want to look for jobs, start up or improve business; or women who wantto obtain skills of self care and family to improve their living conditions, etc. It is estimated that the Center would train around 3,000 women annually and increase the rate of trained women laborers to 40% by 2010.
