Girl Wins First Prize in Japanese Eloquence Contest

The 12th final contest of Japanese eloquence 14 May, 2006 took place at the Ben Thanh Theater (the 1stdistrict, Ho Chi Minh City), in cooperation with the Japanese Consulate General and some local agencies.

A new feature in the contest was the first prize winner who will have expenses paid to attend the “ASEAN’s Contest of Japanese Eloquence”, held in October 2006, in Japan. Overcoming 2 rounds of competition, 15 contestants get to the final round; show their skill by using Japanese fluently and absorbing the audiences by their diversified topics of concern to young generations.

 

Vu Nguyen Thuy Duong, the third year student of the University of Social – Sciences and humanity, was given the first prize with the topic “If tomorrow would not come”.

 

The two following prizes were awarded to Bui Nguyen Ai Nhat (with the topic “The 8X Generation”), and Nguyen Ngoc Huong Thao (Viscera Donation Law).
