FIFA invests in Vietnam’s women football

The International Football Federation (FIFA) will strongly invest in Vietnam, Thailand and Myanmar to help Southeast Asian female football to keep up with the regional level of football, according to Michell Chai, a media and communications official of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

She made the announcement at a FIFA conference held in Manila, the Philippines to discuss orientations for the development of Southeast Asian women football.

FIFA will send delegations to inspect the women football situation in the three countries before adopting specific assistance measures, the AFC official added.
