Contestants fight it out for Mrs Vietnam title

Mrs Vietnam 2009 will compete in the Mrs World Pageant 2009 in Vung Tau in November.

Five contestants went directly to the finals, exempted from competing in earlier rounds: Nguyen Thi Kim Dung, Mss Friendship Vietnam-China 1999; Dam Thi Ly, Mss Tay Nguyen (Central Highlands) 2006 and Mss Sports at the Miss Vietnam contest 2006; Tran Bao Ngoc, winner of the Vietnam Model contest in 1995 and Miss Friendship Through Photos 2000; Kathe, Miss Friendship at Miss Vietnam 2006 and first runner-up at Miss Tay Nguyen 2006; and Ngo Huynh Trang, first runner-up at Miss Ca Mau 2002.

All finalists took part in final rounds that include golf, badminton, and tennis playing, swimming, yoga practice, sea kayaking, beach volleyball and a question-and-answer round.

On September 26, ao dai (traditional long dress), party gown, and swimsuit competitions will be staged, as well as another Q&A.
