Bao Tram in top 20 world young chess players

Bao Tram, born in 1987 in Thua Thien-Hue, won the Asian junior contest, and gained impressive victories at the First Saturday Series in Hungary. Recently, she contributed to the Vietnamese women’s team’s winning of a gold medal at the Asian team championship in Tehran, Iran.

With an Elo score of 2,355, Bao Tram is now 15th out of 20 outstanding young women players in the world. She is the eighth player in Asia and the o­nly o­n in Southeast Asia named in the list.
