  • “Happy Crescent Moon” honoring exemplary disabled couples

    On the evening of October 11, in Hanoi, the Association for the Support of Vietnamese Handicapped and Orphans (ASVHO), the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and The Vietnam National Assembly Television jointly organized the 4th "Happiness for disabled couple" with the theme of “Happy Crescent Moon”. The program took place in a warm and emotional atmosphere, aiming to honor the love and marriage of couples with disabilities.

    On the morning of September 18th, Ms. Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) had a meeting with Ms. Pamela Coke-Hamilton, Executive Director of International Trade Center (ITC), to discuss cooperation activities related to the development of e-commerce through digital platforms, promoting women’s participation in green and sustainable economy in the coming time.
  • Project promotes financial inclusion for ethnic minority women

    A project titled "Reach to Excel: Promoting Financial Inclusion for Ethnic Minority Women" has supported the development of more than 500 self-managed village credit savings groups (VSLA) with more than 11,000 women participating in savings and small-scale lending.
