Conference on Reviewing 5 years of vocational training and job introduction (2002-2007)
In the afternoon of 25 July 2008, the central of Vietnam Women’s Union organized the 5 year Review vocational training and job introduction (2002-2007) in Ho Chi Minh City. There were nearly 200 participants who are in executive board of VWU; directors of profession training and job introduction center of VWU system and Director of Labour, invalid and social affair Department of some provinces/cities. -
Annual Conference to share experiences on health care and HIV/AIDS prevention among the Southern provincial Women’s Unions
In two days from 29 to 30 July 2008, The central of Vietnam Women’s Union organised an Annual Conference on Health care and HIV/AIDS prevention under the chairmanship of the Vice President of VWU Madame H’Ngam Niek’dam in Ho Chi Minh City. -
Quang Binh Women’s Union: Training on environmental sanitation, women & children health care.
Recently, Quang Binh Women’s Union has organized 3 training courses on environmental sanitation, women & children health care for nearly 200 WU’s members and other women at the commune of Tan Hoa, Trung Hoa and Thuong Hoa (Minh Hoa district). -

On the occasion of the 63rd celebration of the August Revolution and the Anniversary of the S.R. Vietnam, in the morning of August 28, 2008, the delegations of the VWU paid tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh and thurified at the Revolutionary Martyr Monument.
