On April 23rd in Da Nang, the Vietnam Women’s Union, in collaboration with UNICEF Vietnam, organized a workshop to launch an initiative aimed at improving clean water, personal hygiene, and school sanitation conditions for ethnic minority students at boarding and semi-boarding schools.

In the 2022-2025 period, the collaboration between the Vietnam Women's Union and Unilever Vietnam established itself as a flagship public - private partnership empowering more than 100,000 Vietnamese women, particularly those in rural and underserved areas, by enhancing economic opportunities, improving health, and raising overall quality of life.

Le Thi Thuy, a member of the Party Central Committee and secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Vietnam Women’s Union, has been elected president of the Vietnam Women’s Union.

The Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) launched a nationwide training workshop for female candidates ahead of the 16th National Assembly, aiming to empower their confidence and proactivity for the upcoming election on March 15, 2026.

To date, the model has achieved significant results in safeguarding families, particularly women and children in the ward.
