On the evening of November 25, 2022, the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) held a communication event "Aspirations for advancement of ethnic minority women and children" and opened the Exhibition “Aspirations for Advancement” at the Vietnam Women's Museum (No. 36 Ly Thuong Kiet, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi).
An event named “Aspirations for Peace” was held in Hanoi on January 9 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Paris Agreement on ending the war and restoring peace in Vietnam (Paris Peace Accords) (January 27, 1973).
The VWU Central Executive Committee held a year-end Conference from December 13 -14, 2022 in Hanoi with the participation of 136 out of its total 158 members. The participants discussed and decided on many important issues related to the tasks of the VWU and the women's movement in 2023.
Responding to “Action month for gender equality and gender-based vilence prevention 2022" from November 15 – December 15, the VWU at all levels organized various activities on gender-based violence prevention, protect women’s right protection, safety ensurance for women and children.
