The Hanoi Women’s Union on November 27 launched an action month for gender equality and gender-based violence prevention, under the theme “Ensuring social security, increasing empowerment and creating opportunities for women and girls to realise gender equality and eliminate gender-based violence”. -
The Center for women and development promotes the implementation of project 8 aimed at disadvantaged women
From October 20 to October 22, 2022, within the framework of Project 8 "Implementing gender equality and solving urgent issues for women and children", the Center for Women and Development (CWD) chaired and coordinated with Thai Nguyen Women's Union to organize the Fair "Connecting product consumption for women in ethnic minority and mountainous areas" and the Workshop on Connecting Livelihood Support Networks for Disadvantaged Women, and Women at high risk of being trafficked and returned. -
TYM launches mobile app
On November 2, 2022, TYM officially launched TYM Mobile application for individual customers. This is the first mobile application that TYM has developed and is considered a breakthrough step to help TYM advance and promote customers’ experiences. -

Project promotes financial inclusion for ethnic minority women
A project titled "Reach to Excel: Promoting Financial Inclusion for Ethnic Minority Women" has supported the development of more than 500 self-managed village credit savings groups (VSLA) with more than 11,000 women participating in savings and small-scale lending. -

In response to “Building the family of 5 Without-s and 3 Clean-s” campaign and movement against plastic wastes, the Women's Union (WU) of Tran Van Thoi district (Ca Mau province) has implemented 2 practical and highly efficient models, not only helping WU members and women raise their awareness of environmental protection, but also helping women overcome their disadvantaged backgrounds, women start up, and their children receive scholarships to go to school.
