During his recent working visit in Vietnam, Dr. Leland Y. Yee, Vice Chairman of California House of Representatives (USA) spent 3 days as a tourist in Xu Tram Huong (Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa).

Having visited the bays of Nha Trang, Cam Ranh and Van Phong, he said “Your country is so beautiful, even more beautiful than Hawaii of America. With proper investment and planning, your country will be heading even further”.

In Xu Tram Huong, Mr. Yee stayed in the 5-star Sofitel Vina Pearl and Spa Hon Ngoc Viet. He said, though knowing that Nha Trang is among the most beautiful bays in the world, he was surprised to find such an international standard and lovely hotel in the Bay. It is both charming and convenient here.

Mr. Yee was especially impressed with the investment plan by Phu Quy corporation, considering it an interesting and comprehensive project in term of overall planning. He said similar projects were advisable and it needed a strategy of promotion and seeking international investment to make use of the potentials of Nha Trang and Vietnam on a sustainable and effective basis. Phu Quy project is planned to include garden villas, deluxe villas, hotels, high-standard apartments, a 5-star resort, cultural, commercial and sport areas, etc.

The appreciation of Xu Tram Huong - Vietnam is vivid in the congressman’s eye sight, smile and exciting voice. “You have a fortune. If I am an investor, I will invest in the resort and tourist area of Nha Trang Bay. I strongly support Vietnam - US economic cooperation. I will encourage, promote and help American investors to come to Vietnam particularly to Nha Trang”.
