World chefs dine à la Hue in Korea food seminar

Vegetarian Food Page Coordinator of Buddhism Culture Magazine, Ho Thi Hoang Anh, will represent Vietnam in the World Master Chef Seminar in Korea on June 30.

Master chefs from countries famous for good food, such as China, Japan, France and Italy, will participate. Each cooking master will have 30 minutes to introduce a country’s food, culture and history.

For Vietnam, Ms Anh will present three special Vietnamese dishes from Hue, including “Com Sen” (lotus rice), Banh It and Banh Phat. 

Korean Woosong University has also said it will begin providing its culinary students with trainings in Vietnamese cuisines and has invited Ms Anh to lecture for three months.
