Walking for the victims

On May 18 over 5,000 people in Ho Chi Minh City joined a walk to raise funds for Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin victims and disabled people.

The City’s Red Cross, which initiated the walk presented 100 houses for solidarity, 300 scholarships were awarded to students, who are AO/dioxin victims, and 400 wheelchairs were given to disabled people. In addition, the association provided financial support for 50 families in suburban areas.

 

The money raised totalled VND 3.1 billion.
