In an effort to accelerate digital transformation and enhance the use of information technology, the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) organized a training workshop titled “Applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) to Increase Work Efficiency” on May 9. The program aimed to equip its staff with practical AI skills for improved performance.

More than 90 officials and employees, including members of the Presidium and department leaders, took part in the session—both in person and via an online connection with the Southern Office and Le Thi Rieng Vocational School.

In her opening remarks, Pham Thi Huong Giang, Chief of the VWU Central Office, emphasized AI’s vital role in the Fourth Industrial Revolution and in shaping the future of public sector operations. She noted the training aligns with the Presidium’s 2025 staff development plan and supports the Union’s resolution to modernize its operations through technology.

Overview of the Training Workshop

Led by Dang Ngoc Thuyen, Director of ASANA Development Consulting, the session covered the use of AI tools like ChatGPT, Gamma, Canva AI, and Heygen. Participants learned to apply these tools in administration, communication, planning, finance, and research.

The workshop included six main sections, from introductory lessons on AI to hands-on practice and real-world problem-solving. It marked a concrete step toward building a more innovative, tech-savvy organization equipped to lead in the digital age.
