Tourism connects Viet Nam with Laos
The central province of Nghe An will cooperate with Xiangkhoang and Luang Prabang provinces of Laos to open tours between the three localities, a local tourism official said.
Nghe An province is famous for Cua Lo beach and Nam Dan district, homeland of the late President Ho Chi Minh; Lao points of interest include Luang Prabang - a world cultural heritage site that welcomes more than 150,000 foreign visitors a year, and the Plain of Jars.
Nghe An province will send a task group to Luang Prabang province to research the development of craft villages, the director also said.
