28 photos depicting the daily moments of old people in an elderly care centre in the outskirts of Hanoi are on display at an exhibition at the Vietnam Women’s Museum at 36 Ly Thuong Kiet street, Hanoi.

The exhibition entitled “Stories of getting old” is being held by the Vietnam Women’s Museum in coordination with Bach Nien Thien Duc Elderly Care Centre to mark the 25th anniversary of the International Day for the Elderly (October 1st) and the Action Month for the Vietnamese elderly.

Using the anthropological approach and photo voice method (handing cameras to subjects), every aspect in the lives of older people is unfolded.

The exhibition aims to encourage visitors of all ages to shorten the generation gap and learn to love and respect older people. It will run until October 30th 2016.
