Photo Exhibition Honoring the Beauty of Vietnamese and Belarusian Women opens in Ho Chi Minh city.

On April 28, the Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union (WU) inaugurated the photo exhibition “The Beauty of Vietnamese and Belarusian Women” at Nguyen Van Binh Book Street, District 1. The event is part of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 April 30, 2025).

The exhibition was organized on the occasion of the visit to Ho Chi Minh city by the Minsk City Organization of the Public Association “Belarusian WU”,aiming to foster cultural exchange and strengthen the friendship between women of both countries.

Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hien, Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City WU, emphasized the significance of the exhibition in honoring the grace, strength, and contributions of women from Vietnam and Belarus. She expressed confidence that the exhibition would deepen mutual understanding and cooperation of the two countries.

Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives of   the Republic of Belarus, Mr. Vadzim Ipatau,-stated-“This exhibition takes place at a special time, as both countries are preparing to celebrate two major historical events: the 50th anniversary of the liberation and reunification of Vietnam, and the 80th anniversary of the Soviet people’s victory in the Great Patriotic War.”

The exhibition features 81 photographs: 20 of Belarusian women, 23 of Vietnamese women, and 38 portraits of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers - symbol of the enduring spirit of Vietnamese women from wartime to the modern era of innovation and development.
