Message of Condolences

The Vietnamese people and women are sadly following the news o­n the devastation and loss of lives and property caused by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

On behalf of the Vietnam Women’s Union and Vietnamese women, I would like to send the deepest condolences to the people and women of the Philippines, particularly those who lost their beloved o­nes during the typhoon.

We believe that with the strongly-demonstrated resilience of the people of the Philippines and the support of international communities, your Government and people will soon overcome the consequences of the typhoon and stabilize people’s life.

We share in your sorrow and wish you the best in getting over this very difficult time.
