Letter invitation to support and donate to VWU’s Campaign of building Affection shelters
Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) respectfully and warmly invites individuals and organizations worldwide to support and donate to a VWU’s campaign (in 2008 – 2009) of building Affection shelters for poor women, especially women who are victims of natural disaster and in difficult situations. This campaign has been launched at all level of the Women’s Union in all localities throughout the country to make contribution to the social security and the elimination of dilapidated houses and improve the life of the poor women in Vietnam.
This campaign for 2008 – 2009 period will be mobilized broadly on the occasion of the 78 anniversary of VWU’s foundation and broadcasted live on VTV1channel of Vietnam Television at 8h30 a.m on Oct 18th 2008 in combination with the ceremony of granting Vietnamese Women Awards 2008.
VWU would like to receive your both spiritual and material support to this campaign. Your practical support and contribution will significantly encourage the Vietnamese women’s movement and help them overcome the difficulties that they are facing.
