January Star award for 172 excellent students

 This is o­n the occasion of the 57th anniversary of traditional day of Vietnamese pupils, students (January 9, 1950-January 9, 2007).

The recipients are Youth Union activists who have made achievements in study and training. The ceremony was attended by To Huy Rua, head of the Party's Commission for Culture and Ideology.

Of the recipients, there are 17 ethnic students, 44 Party members, 106 female students, 66 male students. Many of them come from poor families.

After the ceremony, a great number of students attended a festival to welcome the new year.
