7 collectives and 19 outstanding individuals won Vietnamese Women’s Award

Ceremony of the Vietnamese Women’s Award for the year of 2022 and 2023, and the contest “Learning positive values of relief and religion in family life and gender equality promotion 2023” were held by the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) in Hanoi on November 27.

The awards were presented to 7 collectives and 19 outstanding individuals in various fields, including State management and mass organizations, business, education, healthcare, armed forces, sports, and worker.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Ha Thi Nga, VWU President highlighted that the women receiving awards these years are all outstanding examples of talent, desire for dedication and rich creativity. They are typical of intellectual and spiritual beauty, representing silent contributions of millions of Vietnamese women to building the homeland and country.

Launched in 2002, the Vietnamese Women Award is one of the annual and prestigious awards of the Vietnam Women's Union to recognize the dedication of talent and creativity of Vietnamese women at all areas of social life, for the Vietnamese women’s equality and comprehensive development, contributing to building and protecting the Fatherland. Over the past 20 years, 100 collectives and 183 outstanding individuals in numerous fields have been honored to receive this noble award.

Winners of the Contest "Learning about the positive values ​​of belief and religion in family life and gender equality promotion"

Within the framework of the program, the VWU also awarded prizes to 2 groups and 18 individuals whose works won high prizes in the Contest "Learning about the positive values ​​of belief and religion in family life and gender equality promotion" under the Government’s Project 219 to support information and communication about ethnic and religions.

The contest was organized to accelerate information and communication activities about the Party's lines and policies and the State's laws on ethnic and religious works; strengthen the great national and religious unity bloc in implementing socio-economic development goals and protecting the Fatherland; simultaneously raise awareness about religion, beliefs and positive values ​​of religious beliefs for members, women, and people; encourage members, women, and people from all walks of life to preserve and promote traditional values ​​and fine national cultural identities and fight to eliminate outdated customs and practices, and achieve gender equality.
